  • Lost Nation Mosaic

I may be biased on the Mosaic hops, as I prefer other bases. Overall though, it was a weak IPA, poor aftertaste, and just lacked punch.—by Shane Hostetter

  • Weistephaner Hefe

Ah Germany, how I miss thee. Took me back to my tour of Bavaria 5 years ago. Nothing wrong with this beer at all, just not up to par with Phil's IPAs.—by Shane Hostetter

  • Sip of Sunshine

Haven't had my heady yet, but this is going to be tough to beat. I've had this before, but forgot its elegance. I've said it once, I'll say it again, I love IPA's. Thanks Phil.—by Shane Hostetter

  • Crusher

So, I passed the heady for the crusher, with my thoughts to delay the ultimate. however, crusher may be a favorite now. The floral notes and dedication in this IPA is clear. Fantastic beer! Thank you Phil!—by Shane Hostetter

I'd say strong to quite strong! Both in flavor and chance I will have this again. —by Shane Hostetter

Boozy, Boozy, Booz......y. Sorry, fell asleep there for a second. Outside the alcohol taste, I must say it was a sneaky good beer. The undertones were nice. This is a beer I can happily say I've tried and loved!—by Shane Hostetter

It was a sour, that shouldn't have been a sour.....Or did I miss something? Not sure if mine went bad, but the aftertaste was bad, it had all wrong notes from what the Belgian should have been, and just really not that good.—by Shane Hostetter

  • 90 Minutes

One of the best IPA's ever. Simple, elegant, and a classic example of the brand. Love it—by Shane Hostetter

  • Chimay Blue

Chimay me crazy. Or, so I was hoping. Very much one note. I think I'm biased because of all the great Belgians out there right now. Yes Chimay is the original, but the original has been surpassed.—by Shane Hostetter

  • MadTree Chocolate Raspberry

Made me think of the chocolates with raspberry filling that is always in every valentines day heart, but nobody wants. Guess that's why I was the fat kid. I loved the discarded chocolate. That said, this was right up my alley!—by Shane Hostetter

  • Bell's Hopslam

Dammit. I had this beer as a hope to take on heady....but isn't even close. Kinda one note, bland, and forgettable.—by Shane Hostetter

  • Ommegang Rosetta

It was sour. Enter captain obvious here. Normally, not a huge fan, but this had a nice mix of cherry and not too aggressive sour yeasting.—by Shane Hostetter

  • Xocoveza

My fourth grade teacher once said, just because you can say it, doesn't mean you understand it. Well, for this beer, I can't pronounce it or understand it. It was a winter warmer trying to be a unique session beer. Like at the end of fourth grade, I'm ready for the next level.—by Shane Hostetter

  • Sunday Morning Stout

A year did well for this beer. The boozy undertones mellowed, the chocolate notes expanded, and I was smiling the whole time. I'm saying strong, to quite strong. Both in alcohol and taste! Good work! —by Shane Hostetter

  • La Trappe Quad

Love this beer every time I have it. I am a bit biased, as this is a favorite when I'm in Amsterdam twice a year (hotel has it on tap). Though, its a treat to have it sans passport.—by Shane Hostetter

  • Enjoy By 2.15 Coffee Chocolate

Today is 2.14, Valentines day, and I listen to commands from both my lady love and my hop-related love. The beer told me to drink it on this day and I said Yes. Unfortunately, the beer fell short. A lot of love, a lot of laughter, but in the end one time notes that left immediately on the pallet and left nothing to the imagination. Very plain and not exciting at all.—by Shane Hostetter

  • 2SP Bellcracker

Its like going into a Flyers game only for Mason to let up a goal in the first minute. I had a lot of expectations for this beer, but I think there was a problem with the canning (hopefully just mine) whereby they didn't appropriately clean the metallic inside. Unfortunate, but won't deter me from 2SP. One of the first semi-bad experiences I have with them.—by Shane Hostetter

  • Conshy Type A

This ranking is completely unbiased. Who am I joking..... Given my allegiance to Conshy and, for what I feel is one of our best beers, 9 times 9 all the time (would have been a 10, but I didn't want to be that biased).—by Shane Hostetter
