I'm an IPA guy but I liked this beer. Nice bite for a Belgian. —by Kurt Pfeiffer

  • Heady Topper

Heady Topper rocks. Just about everyone agrees. It does have a mystique about it. The truth is that there are IPAs nearly as good that are far easier to get, but I enjoy the opportunity to have this through FOB.—by Kurt Pfeiffer

Wow this is a strong Doppelbock. I enjoyed sipping on it - lots of sweet flavors going on there with a bit of fizziness. I can see why people who enjoy this variety of beer like it so much. Not my thing but am glad to have tried it. —by Kurt Pfeiffer

I'm an IPA guy, but appreciate the Belgians. This one had a bit more bite which I liked. A fuzziness and slight fruitiness in the Belgian tradition. I could drink a few. —by Kurt Pfeiffer

Reminds me of Allagash White. Good wheat style beer with a hint of clove. I could drink a few of these and be quite satisfied. —by Kurt Pfeiffer

  • 90 Minutes

Dogfish 90 is a real treat. I often forget how close at hand it is. Easy to take for granted because it's right here for us. But - it fends off other competitors and stands tall as one of the best double IPA's you can drink. Bar none. —by Kurt Pfeiffer

This is a very nice Belgian. Fruity Belgian yeasts. Very fizzy and enjoyable. I'm learning to appreciate the Belgian style. —by Kurt Pfeiffer

This may be the most foul tasting IPA I have ever had. It got an 88 on Beer Advocate?!? Unbelievable. Perhaps my can was skunked. I could only drink 3 swallows. Tastes like feet. —by Kurt Pfeiffer

This wasn't that great. IPA's are a crowded field with a lot of great players. Firestone Union Jack is far easier to get and far superior. —by Kurt Pfeiffer

I enjoyed this one. Im not sure how to characterize this one - a stout black IPA? OK - I can roll with it, but only one per sitting. —by Kurt Pfeiffer

  • Sip of Sunshine

Wow - what a treat! The guys up in New England have IPA figured out. We don't need the west coast, but glad we can drink their stuff just the same, thank you. —by Kurt Pfeiffer

  • Xocoveza

This is a desert beer. All kinds of cinnamon and sweetness going on. Where my buddy Ed Collison hates it (read his review) , I love it. Let me drink this on a Sunday morning. This is one dark drink of Brown Shugga! —by Kurt Pfeiffer

  • Bell's Hopslam

Glad to have the opportunity to try this hard to find IPA. It's got the grapefruit citrus hop notes - all good there. It's a very good IPA but IPA's are a crowded field. In the end, I'm glad to have tried it but there are easier to obtain IPA's that beat it. —by Kurt Pfeiffer

Wow! This was a dark and tasty stout! The coffee notes were there and the bourbon barrel aging was apparent in the taste. Good stuff!—by Kurt Pfeiffer

I like a Belgian every once in a while. This one really represents. It's got a really fruity smell to it (actual fruit) and has a spiciness I like. A good, boozy Belgian. —by Kurt Pfeiffer

  • Big Black Voodoo Daddy

When poured into a glass, I thought I was in for a special treat as I saw a beautiful black stout with a brown head and little bubbles. Voodoo did not disappoint. I taste a hint of anise which really sets it apart. —by Kurt Pfeiffer

  • 2SP Bellcracker

I'm familiar with this type of girl - and I like profile. Piney hops with some tropical fruit taste and a nice alcohol linger on the back end. This DIPA is all too easy to drink. Very nice effort by 2SP. —by Kurt Pfeiffer

IPA's are a crowded field. This one has a good amount of pine hops - and it's tasty if a bit thin. Still a very very good offering from a local brewer. I like it. —by Kurt Pfeiffer
