  • Sip of Sunshine

I saved the best for last! This is my final review for FOB. This beer truly was a sip of sunshine. I really enjoy the fact that while it is not sweet, it is juicy. It has something different than the other VT beers this week, and once I had this beer the others seemed lacking. I held off on scoring because I wanted to have them all to compare them, and this may have been a mistake. Sip of Sunshine is the only one that I truly remember to be distinctive and the others are now grouped into the "not sip of sunshine" category. Sorry for the delayed scoring Phil! Thanks so much for all of your hard work! —by Jen H.

I've been hearing buzz about mosaic hops, so I was anxious to give this beer a try. It did not disappoint! To quote an article on punchdrink.com, "it somehow has the impression of of being juicy and fruity but not at all sweet". In other words...delicious!—by Jen H.

I am pleasantly surprised with this week's selection. Either these beers are better that the past Belgians, or my tastes are maturing. I was able to pick out the flavors as they were described, and I actually enjoyed the slight sour taste. While it would still not be my first pick, I am definitely more open to the beers from Belgium.—by Jen H.

The description got my hopes up... Based on the flavor profile, I should love this. Instead, I didn't hate it. As far as I'm concerned, Americans have mastered the art of brewing.—by Jen H.

  • Heady Topper

Happy Valentine's Day! I am rating this beer based on the beer that is in my case. I have had Heady a few times, I even had one last week! This one is not right. Big Guy is next to me, and I tasted his...same problem. For the record, I would normally give this a 9.5 or 10 but this particular can does not meet my expectations. Disappointment on Valentine's Day.—by Jen H.

I have been drinking tea with honey for the last 2 days, nursing a cough. Beer with honey should have the same effect, right? The honey gives this a smooth mouthfeel (I've seen this used in several reviews, so it must be a thing). It is not as amazing as I thought it would be. Thankful for the chance to try it, though!—by Jen H.

  • Enjoy By 2.15 Coffee Chocolate

First..happy snow day! I went into this with a great idea for my review, but after drinking the beer it doesn't apply. This is an "enjoy"able IPA, but...I am searching for the coffee and the chocolate, but it is nowhere to be found. This would have been an 8, but apparently the saying is true, "promises are made to be broken". —by Jen H.

Gracias, FOB! This is my favorite beer ever! All of my favorite flavors! We used to buy cinnamon hot chocolate packets and put it into coffee...it was good, but it wasn't beer! I am on a mission to find a case of this...if anyone finds one, please notify me ASAP!—by Jen H.

I love Pennsylvania! I have always loved living here. I love each and every season, I love driving through the winding roads and seeing trees along the hillsides as I go. To top it all off...the beer is never ending! There are at least 10 breweries within a 30 minute drive, and each one has something new and different to offer. This is going to be a year of road trips...small and large! Thank you, FOB for opening my eyes to the beer in my backyard ;-). Almost forgot...I REALLY like this beer!—by Jen H.

I don't hate it...which is a complement from me. I do not typically like belgian beers. I try, but they always smell like puke! This one, however, smells and tastes like banana laffy taffy. Not a bad taste, but not necessarily what I look for in a beer.—by Jen H.

  • Sunday Morning Stout

Unfortunately, I started tracking my calorie intake a few weeks ago. Keeping my priorities straight, I always leave a fair amount available at the end of the day to enjoy my beverage. Thankfully, I had skipped a meal that day! This beer contains more calories than my breakfast does. From now on, I will pay more attention to the labels and drink as instructed...on Sunday Morning!—by Jen H.

  • Troeg's Chocolate Stout

As the saying goes...everything tastes better after a beer. Apparently, this holds true for Troeg's Chocolate Stout as well. A few weeks ago, I found a good beer hidden in a cooler full of Blue Moon. I had already had 2 Guiness, and the Troeg's chocolate stout went down like chocolate milk. After posting a picture on instagram and finding out it was going to be in the case, I was thrilled! While I still enjoyed this brew with a clear head, it was not nearly as enjoyable on its own. If you get the chance...I highly recommend enjoying a Guinness or two before imbibing in this stout.—by Jen H.
