I have waited on this beer from week 1. I knew I would not like. I knew if left to my own decivises I would dump it down the drain. So I waited. I waited to drink this with someone who would appreciate it. I did that tonight. Took one sip and dumped it into his glass and grabbed something else. Anything else. I did the same with a Borbon County stout. Held onto to that one for three years. Same result. —by Shawn Bell

I want so badly to give this a higher score. Seriously. Welcome to Cawfee Tawlk. I simply adore SMS. I'm verklempt! It's a KBS Killah! Tawlk amongst yourselves! However, aging this doesn't seem to work for me. It's still damn freaking delicious; don't get me wrong. BUT, the coffee on a fresh one is stellar. So, I've done side-by-sides before, you know, for QC (see pic for the latest). The coffee drops off and one can begin to detect the cardboardyness of aging. Is it smoother? Yes. Is it tastier? I'd argue no. But given one or two of these, I won't argue anything. SO... My 8 stands for an aged SMS, but I'd give a 2017 a 10 EASY. Holy crap. Next time I'll write a book. —by Dave "SD" Cook

Everyday you start hoping to do or hear (or drink) something new. Many beers in FOB I know I love. But FOB always brings it and puts a beer in my hand I have not tried. This one fell flat and boozy to me. But, it did make me sing a great velvet underground song for more than a week. I give up. I wanted to have this on a Sunday morning THREE weeks in a row and failed. So it's here and now. This beer is HUGE! It's a full frontal 11.3% ABV bourbon barrel stout with coffee to boot and all of it comes through loud and clear in the nose and on the palate. It's REALLY good! And I'm not a big Weyerbacher fan. Also have their Sunday Mole' Stout in stock but that doesn't quite measure up to it's big brother, Morning. And yes, I'm having M&M Peanuts with it right now. It's beer & chocolate Nirvana. WTG Weyerbacher! —by Michael Gates

Picked up the new batch of Sundays. Since I wanted it fresh, I had a Sunday on Thursday so I can drink last year's Sunday on Sunday. Have to run out on Sunday morning, so I can't really have this Sunday on Sunday morning. So I have to have it Saturday which turned Sunday. So technically I'm drinking Sunday on Sunday. —by Robert Bustard

It's Sunday morning so what better time to review. Full roasty aroma w notes of cherry & vanilla, coffee is hidden by boozy bourbon. As an Ode to Mike K who doesn't want to see anymore beer pics so he posted the baby with the fist up that we've seen only a million times, here's a picture of my beer, with a picture of Phineas, which I colored all by myself. Hola Fobbers. FYI my current  BAC is clocking in at .008, so daddy is legally tanked. Oh and yes I'll probably refer to myself as "daddy" from time to time. Jokes on you because I don't have kids haha I win. Fun little fact about Pennsylvania, the world's largest furry convention, Anthrocon, occurs in Pittsburgh every year. Daddy knows how to party. Ok lets talk about this big black beer. First off, take that weird ass clown jester hybrid dude off the bottles and I'll up this to a 9.5! No one like clowns, no one like the circus. If you do meth you're most likely going to go to circus, that's a known fact. Pours black-ish, not Kenyan black but like Camden, NJ black. Overall this bitch be smooooooth. Bourbon, coffee, chocolate, oak, malt, vanilla everyone is dancing just right. If this beer could transform into a singer/songwriter it would obviously be Black James Taylor.—by Tait Campbell

Well, I'm not a Weyerbacher fan, however I'll take my beanie off to them for this brew. Simply put, I'm impressed. Pretty smooth due to age. Well hidden ABV. Bourbon heat toned down a bit from how I remember it being fresh. Nice body for blending coffee in - I think a lot of times the coffee lightens the body. Carbonation is great, still resting with a nice little head. I popped it cellar temp, if it's too cold some of the flavors are hidden. KBS killer? I think KBS is a sweeter stout comparing the two. This batches coffee may have faded a bit too from age, but it's still noticeable. The chocolate malt flavor is on fleek. Weyerbachers 2017 batch is coming out now, so keep a look out!—by Matt Zehnder

Stouts may be my favorite style, especially at this time of year. This aged SMS poured as dark as motor oil with a one finger tan head that dissipated a lot faster than I expected. I have to believe that I am more excited then all of you to get started this year. After a very scary New Years with a bad reaction to some medication, I have been alcohol & caffeine free for over a month. I did start my coffee intake last week though. I don't know about you all, But coffee is referred to in this house as Black Gold. I pride myself on holding out for this joyous occasion. Unlike some who started early, JH & BG Bitches. I chose this beer to start for several reasons. The reasons are as follows, My love for bourbon, My love for coffee, My love for stouts & the fact that the ABV is 11.3 and I wanted to feel a buzz while writing this. My rule is to give only one 10 per week. There are 3 brews I have never tried left in this 1st week. What the Hell right. I will already be breaking this rule in week 4. I have had three out of the six beers in week 4 & they will all receive a 10. Great Fucking Stout 10 points. FOB rules! Hallelujah, Holly Shit, Where's the Tylenol? —by Russ Jackson
